Facilities at the Barberousse Family Campground in the Aude department
Campground Dates and Hours of Operation
Whether you’re visiting the Aude region or enjoying an extended stay in Gruissan, our Camping Barberousse – Seasonova is your home away from home from April 5 to September 28! Opening hours vary:
- During the off-season, the campground reception desk is open Monday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- During peak season (July and August), the campground reception desk is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On weekends, we are open continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Your site will be available starting at 4:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival. Please vacate it by 10:00 a.m. on the day of your departure.

Our bar-restaurant welcomes you for a pleasant lunch or dinner, offering delicious cuisine with Mediterranean flavors in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The dining area, which is equipped with a television, is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. throughout the campground’s operating season.
To start your day off right, don’t forget our bread and pastries delivery service: kick off your morning with a fresh baguette and pastries available all season long. The perfect breakfast in the heart of the Aude to fuel up for the day!
Wellness area with a hot tub and sauna
Treat yourself to a moment of pure luxury by booking our Wellness Area, which will be entirely reserved for you (for 2 to 4 people).
- Inside: Enjoy our rejuvenating combination of whirlpool baths, a sauna, and a light therapy session. Lie back on the indoor sunbeds to soak up the warmth and enjoy the benefits of the soft lighting.
- Outdoors: Cool off under a cold shower and relax on the lounge chairs for a sunny break.
Practical information: Private rentals are available for a minimum of €15 per hour. Reservations can be made at the campground reception desk!
Our options for added comfort
To make your stay even more enjoyable and hassle-free, we offer a selection of equipment and services for rent. Travel light with our options for added comfort:
- Double-bed sheet set consisting of 2 sheets and 2 cotton pillowcases: €16 per set
- Single-bed sheet set consisting of 2 sheets and 1 cotton pillowcase: €14 per set
- Baby kit consisting of 1 high chair, 1 travel crib, and 1 baby bathtub for 5 € per day per kit
Pets are welcome in Gruissan
Your pet is welcome at Camping Barberousse, where it is considered a full-fledged member of the family. Here are a few rules for staying at the campground with your pet:
- One pet is allowed in rental accommodations (mobile homes), while two pets are allowed on tent, RV, and trailer sites.
- Pets must be up to date on their vaccinations, and you must present their vaccination record upon arrival.
- Pets must be kept on a leash throughout the campground.
- It is strictly prohibited to leave a pet alone and unattended in the accommodations.
The rates are €4 per day per pet for tent, trailer, and RV sites, and €8 per day per pet or €45 per stay of more than 7 days per pet for rental accommodations (mobile homes).
